Birth Doula | Labor & Delivery Nurse | Student Nurse-Midwife
Childbirth is raw, powerful, and transformative. What may seem intense on the surface is, in truth, sacred and life-changing and it deserves steady, respectful support.
My passion for birth began in childhood and became a calling during my time at Howard University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health in 2017. I began working as a doula in Washington, DC in 2015, supporting families in hospital and community birth settings and learning firsthand the power of presence and advocacy.
After graduation, I completed a maternity ward internship in Kenya, where I gained exposure to diverse birth practices and developed a deeper commitment to culturally responsive and equitable care.
I later earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University and now work as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Emory Healthcare in Georgia. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery.
As your doula, I bring calm presence, evidence-based information, and deep respect for your autonomy. My goal is to help you feel safe, informed and empowered.
