My name is Kierra Rorex-Roberson and I’m an aspiring birth doula from Atlanta, Georgia with a deep passion for supporting women during pregnancy and childbirth. My interest in birth work grew from my own powerful VBAC experience, where I delivered my daughter naturally in a calm and centered environment. Through meditation, prayer, and trusting my body, I experienced firsthand how strength, peace, and confidence can shape a positive birth.
After sharing my story with my family, my mother—who has experienced eight births herself—recognized my calm strength during labor and encouraged me to help other women through the birth process. That encouragement, along with the support I now provide to my best friend during her induction and to my sister during her upcoming birth, inspired me to pursue doula training.
I hope to help expecting mothers feel safe, supported, and empowered during labor. I believe that with the right emotional support, breathing, and a peaceful environment, many women can approach birth with confidence instead of fear. My goal as a future doula is to be a steady and compassionate presence, guiding mothers through one of the most meaningful experiences.
