I've been supporting families through birth for 7 years, and I've learned this. The births that go the way people hope aren't about luck. They're about preparation, advocacy, and having someone in your corner each step of the way.
I don't show up with my own agenda about how your birth "should" go. I show up for YOU. Your plan, your preferences, your power. My job is to help you feel calm when things get intense, to remind your partner how to support you when they're unsure, and to make sure your voice is heard when you're too deep in labor to speak up for yourself.
Most of my clients achieve the unmedicated birth they're planning. Not because I "do" anything magical, but because I help them stay grounded, focused, and confident in their own strength.
