Hi, I’m Derelyn, a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist dedicated to helping families navigate pregnancy, birth, and life with a new baby with confidence and peace of mind.
Trained through Sista Midwife Productions and Full Bloom Birthing and certified in CPR and First Aid, I combine professional training with hands-on experience caring for newborns and assisting parents during the transition into parenthood.
Whether I’m providing labor support, overnight newborn care, postpartum assistance, or virtual guidance, my goal is to create a calm, reassuring presence while offering evidence-based education, practical assistance, and compassionate encouragement. I believe every family deserves personalized care that honors their values, choices, and unique journey.
When I’m not working with families, you’ll likely find me singing, dancing, enjoying Cajun food (I’m a proud New Orleans native), or spending time with my dog.
