I am a newly trained doula in the Dougherty County area with a deep calling to support birthing people as they move through one of life’s most powerful transitions. I believe every family deserves to feel informed, honored, and held during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As someone new to professional doula work, I bring fresh dedication, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to truly listening to each family’s needs. I approach every birth without assumptions — centering your voice, your values, and your vision. My goal is for you to feel confident, respected, and supported every step of the way. I am currently looking for mothers who are at least 26 weeks into their pregnancy, and I am willing to travel through Georgia. I am currently based in Albany and Savannah. I also offer postpartum services and pregnancy loss services.

A proud graduate of Albany State University, an esteemed HBCU, I hold a degree that laid the foundation for my lifelong commitment to service and community care. I am a Certified Doula through GBDN and a proud SisterSong partner, centering reproductive justice and collective liberation in my work. My path is further enriched by my certification as a Perinatal Patient Navigator from Morehouse School of Medicine, equipping me to support families with advocacy, education, and access to resources that improve birth outcomes. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I integrate bodywork and somatic awareness into my care, offering families both physical and emotional relief. Rooted in spiritual, holistic, and wellness-centered practices, I empower families to feel nurtured, informed, and confident every step of the way.

Greetings! My name is Phylicia Price. My love for maternal health flowed in as a little girl watching the women in my family assist other women in their pregnancy journey, labors and deliveries. At that time, it was just what I was used to. I thought we all helped mothers. My love for the space grew and never left me even as I went on to do other things throughout life. One day I decided to follow my heart and began my education in maternal health with Badoula trainings. I have attended numerous other educational spaces such as Morehouse College & even the first cohort for GBDN. Advocating & assisting families in my community while working beside other beautiful souls is an unexplainable love. Helping families is a honor and I’m grateful to assist the ones that are called to me.
