My practice bridges tradition and modern evidence to provide deeply compassionate, culturally responsive care. I believe birth is a spiritual rite of passage—not just a medical event—that deserves to be protected with informed and intuitive support, honoring you as the true expert of your body and birth.

My path is rooted in supporting family births, raising my two sons, and over a decade of leadership in advocacy and education in cultural and community wellness. Drawing on my education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Georgia Black Doula Network training, and certifications in yoga and meditation, I offer a sanctuary of support. Together, we honor the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers of your journey—from pregnancy through the sacred transition into early parenthood.

If you seek a doula who respects you as the expert of your body and birthing journey, blends the wisdom of those who came before us with modern science, and provides an honored space for your heart and spirit, I am here to walk this path with you and those you love. Let’s talk!

Hello and welcome to my page!

I believe the time during and after pregnancy is sacred — a life‑changing experience rooted in tradition, hope, and deep connection. It is a season that calls for nourishment of the body, mind, and soul.

As a maternal and infant health researcher with more than 18 years of experience documenting the maternal health crisis in the United States, I have seen firsthand how essential support is during this journey. Research consistently shows that doula care improves outcomes for both mothers and babies, and I became a doula to be part of that solution.

I educate families about their options and tailor my services to their unique preferences. This includes childbirth education, exercises to prepare the mind and body for labor, labor companionship and comfort measures, postpartum healing through nutritious foods, teas, and natural remedies, and guidance in infant care and self‑care. I emphasize planning for recovery during the postpartum period, which is just as important as preparing for birth.

My approach centers your voice, your values, and your vision — helping you outline a path that reflects your preferences and supports your well‑being.

My website and social media pages are currently under construction. Please call or email for more information. Reduced fee services are available.

Greetings! My name is Phylicia Price. My love for maternal health flowed in as a little girl watching the women in my family assist other women in their pregnancy journey, labors and deliveries. At that time, it was just what I was used to. I thought we all helped mothers. My love for the space grew and never left me even as I went on to do other things throughout life. One day I decided to follow my heart and began my education in maternal health with Badoula trainings. I have attended numerous other educational spaces such as Morehouse College & even the first cohort for GBDN. Advocating & assisting families in my community while working beside other beautiful souls is an unexplainable love. Helping families is a honor and I’m grateful to assist the ones that are called to me.

My name is Jasmine, a proud mother of four, and a passionate advocate for birthwork rooted in ancestral wisdom and community healing. I began my journey as a birth worker in 2021 after witnessing far too many preventable traumas during pregnancy and childbirth — experiences that moved me to action.

I served as a peer breastfeeding counselor, offering education and support to local mothers and families navigating the postpartum journey. That role deepened my commitment to maternal health and taught me the power of showing up — consistently, compassionately, and with purpose.

I’m a natural problem solver, driven by a deep belief that this work is my calling. I am here not just to support births, but to help our communities return to our roots — to honor the truth that a woman’s body is divinely designed to bring life into this world. She should not fear birth, but be empowered by it.

My mission is to honor life and the body — to provide sacred support for families as they birth in the ways that feel most natural and empowering to them. I believe every birthing experience should be guided by trust, informed choice, and deep respect for the wisdom carried in our bodies and bloodlines.

Through education, advocacy, and care, I’m devoted to creating spaces where Black women feel safe, seen, and spiritually supported from womb to world.

Our compassionate and individualized care will provide you with the confidence that you never knew you needed!

My name is Shaquetta. I’m a certified Birth, Infant Care and Postpartum Doula with an extensive background in the healthcare field.

After living through less than favorable birthing outcomes myself, I saw firsthand how nerve wracking and frustrating things can be before, during and after giving birth. Especially without additional help and support. This is what motivated me to become a Doula.

I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse with an aspiration to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. My dream is to open a Birth Center with a Full Spectrum Doula Agency and Postpartum Recovery Unit. Creating a sacred space to sit unapologetically raw in feminine energy is my purpose.
